Frederick the Great:
- Ruled Prussia from 1740-1786
- Throne was passed down by his father Frederick William
- He was an Atheist
- He had a positive impact on Prussia because he double its population through lands taken during the War of the Austrain Succesion. He also made notable changes to Prussia during his reign that somewhat resemble the movement known as The Enlightenment. He abloished torture to prisoners and establishes trials by impartial judges.
- He was very passionate about freedom of expression and religion and was a poet and writer. He belived people should be judged on their intelligence and not their privledges.

- He was most famous for expanding Prussia, fighting to prtect his country, and supporting the arts and literature.
